Combining 20+ years of IT expertise, 5 years of managing my own company and an ability to empathise with client requirements, I am able to offer remote assistance to individuals and small businesses.
Working in the IT industry since 1983, I have watched it evolve (and over-evolve!). From computer operation, software programming and design through to analysis and project management, I have worked in Investment Banking, Manufacturing Production and Planning, Accounts, Sales, Purchasing and Stock Control.
In 1998, I started and co-managed a distribution and retail company with a partner. I designed and installed all the company processes (manual and computerised), documented procedures, established and ran staff training courses and achieved ISO9000 certification. When I sold my shares in 2004, the company had 40+ staff and a turnover of £1.6 million.
Having chosen to truly downsize my life to rural France, I would like to use my years of combined experience to help you simplify your life. Working when required, from 1-10 hours per week, I can iron out some of the more tedious areas of your working day, without the overhead of a full-time personal assistant or IT expert.
